As a first-generation college graduate of Polish immigrants, Anna has a strong passion for helping others and supporting immigrants through the complex immigration process. Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography with a focus on environmental studies from Illinois State University. Anna’s genuine empathy and compassion allow her to provide reliable support to clients. She is committed to ensuring immigrants navigate the complexities of immigration successfully.
Bianka Shavers-Rivera
Senior Case Manager
Bianka received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations-History and Japanese from Wellesley College in the spring of 2017. She now helps our broad spectrum of clients navigate the immigration system.
Susie Garibay
Case Manager
During college and after graduation, Susie worked with the law school’s Human Trafficking Clinic as a Spanish interpreter and also worked with Legal Aid Chicago. Susie’s hands-on experience with vulnerable communities, along with her close familiarity of her family’s immigration stories, significantly enhances McEntee Law Group’s legal services.
Megan Delaney
Operations & Analytics Manager
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Megan comes from a family of immigrants and has experienced the citizenship process firsthand. During her time at Loyola University Chicago, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Global & International Studies with a focus on human rights, Megan received a grant for her work at a Chicago-based non-profit that worked with international delegates and visitors. Megan’s own immigrant background coupled with her work experience have shown her the importance of a compassionate approach to immigration, something that she carries in her work as a Operations & Analytics Manager with McEntee Law Group.
Liz Mascio
Marketing & Social Media Manager
Liz graduated from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL, where she began to develop a deep passion fro social justice and policy reform. As the Marketing & Social Media Manager at McEntee Law Group, her combined skills in B2C marketing and dedicated advocacy make her a perfect fit for this position. With her experience in leveraging social media platforms and email marketing, Liz is committed to connecting clients with the legal services they need, and she takes pride in helping people from all backgrounds educate themselves and navigate the complexities of the immigration system.
James Compton
Case Manager
As a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s in History from the University of Illinois at Chicago, James joined McEntee Law Group as Client Coordinator in the Spring of 2022. Being raised by his native Croatian mother and grandmother has given him an unshakeable empathy for immigrants and the unique troubles they may face before, during, and after obtaining a visa or green card. He strives to enhance McEntee Law’s team through accessibility and compassion for all, regardless of circumstance.
Karolina Krajewska
Senior Paralegal
Karolina’s own American immigration journey as well as true passion for helping others have led her to become an immigration paralegal. After studying sociology in Poland, she received her paralegal certificate and degree from Oakton Community College. She now has more than six years of experience working for immigration law firms in the Chicago and Silicon Valley areas. While working full-time at McEntee Law Group, Karolina is also pursuing a degree in management from Golden Gate University. Karolina specializes in corporate immigration law and both immigrant and nonimmigrant visas. She is fluent in Polish.
Hilary Hatton
Law Clerk
Hilary has a BA in English from Elmhurst University and a paralegal certificate from Loyola University Chicago, along with over eight years of immigration and global mobility experience. She fell into immigration work by chance early in her paralegal career and quickly found it was where she wanted to be. Hilary is also working towards her Juris Doctor at University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, with a focus on international law. With this experience, she enhances McEntee Law Group’s legal services as she helps our clients navigate the immigration system.
