In this spirit, we are so excited to announce the addition of three experienced immigration attorneys to the firm. Please join us in welcoming Katherine Del Rosario, Elena Diaz, and Natalia Blauvelt!
1. Katherine Del Rosario, J.D.
Katherine has a decade of experience in community building, organizing, and advocacy around immigrant rights. She is a Chicago native, second-generation immigrant, and Filipino American.
She received her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and has several years of experience as an immigration attorney in both business and family-based immigration cases.
Other Achievements
Outside of her work as an immigration attorney, Katherine co-founded the nonprofit Alliance for Immigrant Neighbors (AIN), which provides service representation and community education to immigrant families in the Chicago suburbs.
Katherine speaks Tagalog proudly.
2. Elena Diaz, J.D.
Elena is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her personal immigrant experience inspired her to pursue law school with the goal of serving the immigrant community. Elena received her J.D. at the University of New Hampshire Law School.
Previously, she practiced family-based immigration and primarily worked with Spanish-speaking clients.
Other Achievements
Outside of her work as an attorney, Elena has a background as an actor and uses her industry experience to work with clients seeking extraordinary O-1 visas.
Elena is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
3. Natalia Blauvelt, LL.M, J.D.
Natalia began her legal career in Moscow, Russia. She advised international clients who were establishing and expanding business operations into the country. Natalia moved to the U.S. to study law and received her L.L.M. and J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Other Achievements
Previously, Natalia focused on family-based immigration, DACA cases, and removal/deportation defense. She has represented clients before the USCIS, immigration court, and ICE.
As an immigrant from Russia, Natalia has firsthand experience navigating the immigration system. She uses this to represent her clients with empathy and compassion.
Natalia is also fluent in Russian.
